さらにGBAケーブルを使用してゲームボーイアドバンス版『ハリー・ポッターとアズカバンの囚人』と接続することで、ミニゲームをゲームボーイアドバンスにダウンロードして遊ぶことができます。

ハリー、ロン、ハーマイオニーの3人で困難に立ち向かいます。場面によってハリー、ロン、ハーマイオニーの誰かを操作して様々な困難や謎に挑みます。
■ 新しい魔法
敵を固めたり、ドラゴンの炎を操ったりといった新しい魔法が多数登場します。もちろん、今まで登場したあの魔法も使うことができます。
■ 固有のアイテム
３人にはそれぞれ固有のアイテムがあり、それを使いこなして敵と戦ったり、謎を解いていきます。
■ ヒッポグリフに搭乗できる！
鷲と馬が半分半分となった生き物ヒッポグリフ。そのヒッポグリフに乗って空を飛び回ることができます。
■ 忍びの地図
第3巻にも登場した魔法の地図「忍びの地図」を使ってホグワーツを探索していきます。
■ ロード時間の短縮
従来のハリー・ポッタータイトルと比べ、ロードの頻度と時間が短縮されています。
■ ミニゲームのダウンロード
