Fox McCloud and his animal compatriots are together again in this journey through time. Unfortunately, none of the old crew is willing to hit the front lines with Fox this time around; Peppy has taken a role in mission support, Slippy has gotten into the world of research and development, while Falco has decided to launch a solo career. This means you'll have to go it alone as Fox, battling enemies, flying combative missions, making discoveries, and more. The story begins when McCloud finds a magical staff, compelling him to leave the land of Arwing to travel the world. Eventually, you'll meet up with a loopy new sidekick named Prince Tricky, learn how to ride on the backs of dinosaurs, fight enemies in hand-to-hand combat, and much more. A bold departure from earlier STAR FOX titles, Dinosaur Planet is a mixture of just about every gaming genre imaginable. Whether you're solving puzzles, mastering flight, getting into bare-knuckle brawls, or making allies, you'll have your hands full with this gargantuan title that's only available for the Nintendo Game Cube.

A la périphérie du système solaire de Lylat, une armée de dinosaures maléfiques a engendré le chaos sur les terres paisibles de Dinosaur Planet. L'avenir s'annonçait bien sombre... jusqu'à la venu de Fox McCloud! C'est la première fois dans sa carrière qu'il quitte son Arwing pour combattre ses ennemis sur la terre ferme, aidé d'un bâton magique dont les pouvoirs se révèleront précieux.

C'est un défi difficile que va devoir relever l'équipe Star Fox. Notre héros affrontera des boss gigantesques, pilotera l'Arwing de mission en mission et explorera de vastes régions primitives. Il aura grand besoin de ses vieux coéquipiers, Slippy et Peppy, ainsi que de l'aide de nouveaux alliés comme le prince Tricky et la mystérieuse Krystal. Le maléfique général Scales est en passe de conquérir Dinosaur Planet et la chasse au renard est ouverte...

In "Star Fox: Adventures" müssen Nintendo-Fans beweisen, ob sie so schlau wie Füchse sind. In riesigen Fuchsbauten und im endlosen Weltraum ist Fox McCloud unterwegs, um einen von sprechenden Dinosauriern bevölkerten Planeten vor den Schergen des fiesen General Scales zu beschützen. Doch aufgepasst! In Dschungelgebieten, Eislandschaften und verfallenen Tempelruinen begegnen die Spieler gefährlichen Gegnern, die nichts Gutes im Schilde führen. Zusätzlich erschweren einem zahlreiche knifflige Rätsel das Leben.

Fox McCloud kann jedoch auf tatkräftige Unterstützung seiner Freunde bauen: die erfahrenen Kamfpiloten Slippy, Peppy Hare und General Pepper sowie der niedlichen Krystal und der sprechende Triceraptos Prince Tricky begleiten ihn durch das Abenteuer. Ein weiteres Highlight des Spiels ist die bestechende Grafik mit Licht- und Explosionseffekten. Diese grafischen Elemente sind derart beeindruckend, dass man seinen Augen kaum traut. So schlägt und kämpft sich Fox durch gigantische 3D-Welten, die an Detailreichtum kaum zu übertreffen sind. Zudem lassen unzählige grafische Animationen wie das Herumschwirren von Flugsauriern und die Bewegungen des reich texturierten Fox McCloud grenzenlosen Videospielspaß aufkommen und jedes Spielerherz höher schlagen.
