Met z'n vieren speel je mee op de maat van de muziek door te zingen en knoppen in te drukken. Eén persoon zingt mee in de microfoon, terwijl andere spelers drummen en gitaar spelen.
Greatest Hits op maat gemaakt voor de band-ervaring van Guitar Hero De nummers uit de eerdere Guitar Hero games zijn geoptimaliseerd door de originele artiesten en op maat gemaakt voor de volledige band-ervaring. Je kunt dus eindelijk meedrummen met Dragonforce's onmogelijke 'Through the Fire and Flames'. De volledig band ervaring is er eentje waarbij je met vier spelers kan spelen; twee gitaren, drums en zang.
